Cowboy & his secret

by Faye   Jul 17, 2008

He walks into the shadows of the night,
spurs screaming with every step.
Rains crying out of the sky and the moons peaking out of the clouds.
A cowboys hiding under his hat.
Hurt, woe, and confused.
He's filled with pain and hate...
He kneels down beside a wooden cross,
and takes off his hat while lowering his head.
The cowboy has a secret,
apon the wooden cross. He stands up with hurt
in his heart, and wipes away his hidden tears.
The cowboys walks away a few steps and whispers
in the wind...."Mom, I miss you."
Then he turns his back and walks home,
as the rain stops with his last words...
