Animal Cruelty!!

The Chains cut so deep..
Its hard for me to breath..
I havent eaten in days..
The one who did this must pay..
I remember my life was happy..
But now my lifes just crappy..
I lay there wondering why..
But it never comes to mind..
Who would leave someone they once loved..
Leave them there to be unloved..
My big brown eyes now filled with tears..
Rips and shreds cover my ears..
From being beaten with that stick..
Either that or id get kicked..
They chained me up, left me for dead..
All those times I seem to dread..
I closed my eyes and tried to sleep..
But all I could do was weep..
I missed those days..
When I was free to play..
I missed my mother..
My sisters and brothers..
Why couldnt I stay with them..
Then my life could be full again..

Have you ever thought how they mite feel?
People who do this to their animals sicken me!! why would you do this if you dont love ur pet then u shouldnt own it!!! give it to someone who will love it and take care of it the way every animal should be!!

Wow. i may only be a cat person, but i love my cat! to write something from the animals POV is not only interesting, but very effective.

after reading this i want to go hold my cat. u have successfully triggered an emotional response. i think that means you have outdone yourself this time.

God, the opening is so powerful
    "The Chains cut so deep..
Its hard for me to breath.."
it just pulls you in and makes you want to keep reading! 5/5, i really liked it. i have to admit i have never really paid much mind to animal cruelty, but this poem opens up my eyes.
