Lost in your Kiss

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jul 18, 2008

Your face and personality have stained my heart.
It won't be the same again for you are a part.
Within my heart love burns
and for your touch it yearns.

I see a half smiling poet with depression in his eyes.
With an immense amount of talent he doesn't realize.
Dark circles under eyes from lack of rest.
Despite what you may think, you look your best.

If I could kiss you once or more
I know I'd knock you to the floor.
With closed eyes in a trance,
fulfilling our romance.

Bodies touching in firm embrace.
We meet each other face to face.
I trace the footsteps in my mind.
Over and over I rewind.

``maybe you meant to say.. "Dark circles under your eyes from lack of rest." ??

Great job like always. The rhyming thing seems to be going well for you.. the flow is very smooth and the poem is pretty quick.. short poem but you get the idea.. 5/5
