Like You

You say you're fine
I see that look in your eyes
That look of sorrow and loneliness
You hide in your depression

The light smile
And the whispering laugh
We all know its fake
So why put up the act

We can see the scars
And all the bruises
There's no need to hide
We already know

You can trust us
There's no need to fake it
We're already in hell, as you can tell
And there's no one to judge you

We know everything about you now
The scars and bruises are all the same
We understand
Because we're just like you

Wow..That was really sad..People being alike in that way is hard to believe (trust me I know, I still have a hard time believing it myself, and I'm one of them) but that is touching..

Honestly, I really liked that poem. I relate because we all sometimes hide what we are from others. Putting on a fake persona to make it look as if things are just dandy. Good job.
