Why did I love you?
Why did I care?
Why did I let you make me shed so many tears?

You always said you were gonna stay with me from the start.
I always thought you were true until you broke my heart.
Why did you say you loved me if you never really did?
Why did you even have to pretend?

I cared for you more then you could imagine.
I believed you when you always said you cared for me to.
The lies that you had told and the games you have played,
Was something that I could finally just let go?

The pain was gone and there were no more tears.
The laughter and the jokes were no longer there.
Is this what you wanted but never knew how to say it?
If it is then you sure have got it.

I don't want to love you anymore!
I don't have to care!
But I still always will shed my tears!
