Reality begins

by Amy   Jul 19, 2008

Sitting here around me all I see, is the same four walls
I hear the roaring of this old fan
The crying of the baby and her sweet demands
Not much more can I take...
Someone save me for god's sake
I need to get outta here for awhile
Nothing in this old house, nothing makes me smile
What to do with myself I just don't know
I carry myself off to fantasy land
Where there's no crying, yelling, or any demands
Drifting off so far away
Sailing along the endless way
Hoping not to return for some days
Jolted fast awake
This adventure ends and reality begins

Good job. you put a lot of emotion into this, and it's very relatable.

Just remember to allow your mind linger on the good memories you have. You will find that they happen many many times each day. Happiness in a smile or a gesture, maybe in overheard or shared laughter. These moments are special and are there to remind you life is good!!
