Death

by Erica Ramos   Jul 19, 2008

Thunder striking in the pit of despair
Burdened by sorrow, water floods I drown
The rising water turns from clear to brown
In this hole my heart continues to tear
The after-life is my greatest scare
While I wear my anguish as if it's a gown
Death

I try to survive not like anyone would care
Thinking of my past I sit here and frown
When it comes to pain I wear the crown
Now the grim reaper is what I stare
Death
