Scorpio

by moonlight2105   Jul 19, 2008

When the sun was downing behind the dunes,
you got discovered in the warm sand,
and you came so close to my hand.
Such a fascinating creature!
You do what you want.
You don't care what others do.
You survive in this place.
You don't need much.
You are so unique, but I try not to touch,
cause we know - in the moment I would do,
I would have to die for you.

Why panned??, It's about a scorpion, the beasts got poison in their sting :) Ok, maybe to die is to much - but shall I write "it hurts", aouch!

A different and interesting read. I enjoyed it as we tire of the same poems and subject matter over and over. very nicely penned
