Midnight Madness

by Dimarik   Jul 19, 2008

Cryptic whispers of icy shivers,
Touching my skin,
Makes me quiver,

In my bed, sleep never comes,
As I lay with these voices racing,
My mind hastely runs,

Soon I'm tossing, then I'm turning,
When will the night end, and daylight start burning?

Soon an endless cycle that spins me around,
Hypnotized and haunted, my ghosts come down,

Their lingering presence of sudden disturbance,
Comes at me from a distance,
Unfortunate urgence,

What I've feared is now alive,
Here in midnight madness,
Like a child, I cry,

As I'm hoping that all this chaos would stop,
The sadistic hour remains at 12 O' Clock,

Frozen in time,
Cannot react,
Midnight madness,
Wretched insomniac,
