I can't believe your gone,
all these days we spent,
leaving you all alone.
Now i wish,
wish with all my heart,
that we could use every last inch
of strength and eagerness
to reach you, and get you back.
All those places we talked,
all those things we chatted about,
was like an everyday thing,
something regular;
but now it seems as if the everyday things didn't come everyday.
The things i love, i am beginning to lose.
i really miss you,
Great-Grandma,
and i thank you.
thank you for giving me my mother.
She is my everything,
if it wasn't for you bearing my grandfather,
she wouldn't be here to give me life.
Dedicated to my great-grandmother, Leona M. Glubka; who died at the age of 77, due to complications from her lung surgery.
She died Saturday, May 29, 2004.
