A jump or a skip
we live or lives
bound by the time
we take in stride
we sit in our chair
as we listen in school
we swim around
as we play in a pool
we laugh and scream
as people tell us things
because we enjoy
these simple things
we cry silent tear
as the dead lay there
we scream out in anger
as pain wells up here
we curse the world
as it turns it's tides
we hate the change
and we miss the old
we wish for the new
and forget the now
because we are human
and as humans we are bound
we love the cute
and hate the bad
we listen to the tv
and ignore or mom and dad
we try to decide what tomorrow should bring
long before we take a chance to enjoy everything
we live our lives a million steps ahead
when all we must really do is live life a step
we see answers
when questions will do
want love
when like is true
turn to hate
when anger will suffice
and punch a man
when a genital word would be nice
we are fools this much is true
we live our life as if we rule
we look out for number one most of the time
even if others think other wise
we love a good smile
and all hate a frown
we seek a good laugh
rather then a crying cloud
we are people
and as people this is what we do
you live life for the world
and let the world live for you
we are weak
and simple
and fouls at best
we are greedy
and needy
and hateful messes
we scream
we cry
we spit
and we die
because this is what we will
but take a moment
a second out of the day
and look at the others
and see if life is the same
love a little more
people need it I think
smile a little more
just give it a take
kiss your parents
its really not gross
and sing a song
even if it is in the shower at home
and just take a moment
a single blink in life
and ask your self
do you love you on the inside....
