Better Dawns ((dance in the rain))

by StandStill   Jul 20, 2008

The thunder crashes open another day,
screaming proofs into unsure ears.
Rain spills down, all around,
like so many thousands of tears.

All He wants is for me to see Him...
and now I'll spin a little better.
Pick up my feet and dance in this rain,
trying to understand these things that matter.

Raindrops mix with tears in my eyes,
so unsure of what I know.
Shaking legs, and spinning vision,
into this unknown land I go.

Here I fall to my knees again,
I swear to Him, I'll try my best.
I'm going to figure this out this time,
give back to the owner, my heart in my chest.

The rain swells and slowly comes to a stop,
the thunder still crashes on.
Midnight prayers and falling down,
brings on a better dawn.

"Pray, sit back and watch the scenery change..." ~Stellar Kart
