Confessing My Love For You.

As I sat there waiting for you to come on,
something hit me out of nowhere.
It was that very moment that I realized,
I truely felt like I loved you more than a friend.

My hands began to shake as I struggled to type,
a message to you was all it would take.
"Do I tell him now, or should I wait?"
Nothing was holding me back as I clicked 'send.'

My stomach twisted into a million knots,
and my heart pounded within my chest.
I was feeling extremely sick as I awaited your reply.
I refreshed the page at least ten times,
before seeing "1 new message."

I suddenly sunk in my seat,
hoping that you'd understand me.
Wishing you'd feel the same,
so I only hoped for the best as I clicked on it.

As I read your message,
I couldn't help but to shed a few tears.
I knew it all along, we could only be friends,
for the fear of distance was what would keep us apart.

You told me not to let my smile fade away,
and to make sure that I let it shine and not be sad.
Because that's all you ever wanted me to be,
was that girl that always smiled beautifully.

Until the day that death do us part,
I'll always love everything about you,
you'll always be known as the only person-
who could make me smile inside and out.
