** another poem for jens contest**

i guess what all you say,
was a lie after all,
i thought that we could be,
and neither of us would ever leave,
but i guess it was just not meant to be.

we was dreamers,
and you was always such a singer,
but i guess i never saw,
what all you could do,
so looks like i lose,
what i held dear.

everyone knows,
that things dont last like we all wish,
but i guess im just gonna have to miss,
and think bout what happened,
and keep thinking that.
