Relief From What Was Left Behind

by DarknessInMySoul   Jul 21, 2008

The inside cries,
The outside hides,
The mind imagines,
The outside pretends.

A way for a relief,
A blade’s gentle kiss,
Along the wrist,
That heaven touches.

Hidden by cloth,
Covered in makeup,
She lives in lies,
And desires truths.

Cheerful and sunny,
With a darkness hidden,
No one sees,
No one tries.

They don’t understand,
As they surround a hole,
Just like the one,
Driven in her heart.

An imagined death,
Brought out as a last wish,
She let herself go,
And watches over you.
