Venom

** Collaberation Poem With Mr Darcy, For A Contest. **

(Venom)

Torture crawls and scrapes its claws,
Through my dampened corridors.
Each lonely passage stinks of flesh
A labyrinth of echoed death.

Steel my darkness; absorb it's pain
Syringe despair just like cocaine.
Hooked by your spell and through my heart,
You scored my veins with kisses tart.

Liquid regret sucks from my skin,
Seeps through the dungeon deep within.
Living, dying, dead existence
Shallow stone, sinking resistance.

(Injection)

You said your heart was my true gift,
But through blue eyes I sensed a mist.
I saw behind your two-faced mind,
Your scheme to rape clearly defined.

Etched realisation chilled my soul
How could your love be lifeless coal
Was evilness pursed on your lips
With every single deadly kiss?

Did you desire to burn disgust,
Upon man's love with poisoned lust?
Or is there somewhere deep within,
A piece of love wrapped in thin sin?

(Cure)

Your eyes were blank, no love lives there
An empty book, full of blank stare
So now I write my final note
To tell you my love is revoked.

A heart like yours has only hate.
A sprite disguised with angel bate,
No longer will your tricks deceive
And leach the energy from me.

So read these words from me to you,
Our love is dead so we are through
My heart's immune to your black spell
Your love returned to rot in hell.

The more I read this, the more I grow to like it.

Working with you on this forced me too, it challenged me to work with another mind. Our brain storming sessions were cruicial in this poems construction. It is so easy for ones writing to become stale, so an infusion of new ideas spawns new darkness. Well done us!!

This was my first collaboration and one that I am now proud of.

Well done Cassey and thank you. :O)
