Disaster

by Wishmaster   Jul 21, 2008

Taking a look of a home
Torn apart by the storm
A family left to roam
A love left to deform

Coping with disaster
Never is easy
Healing can't come faster
When love is uneasy

The struggle inside
Comes so much sooner
When there's something to hide
The pain comes sooner

Coping with disaster
Never is easy
Healing can't come faster
When love is uneasy

Lost everything
Nothing to gain from this
There has to be something
To gain from all this

Hm, yes nice work. The poem is generic, so I think many people should have any easy time relating to it and applying it to their own disasters in their life. I also liked how you used repitition of the stanzas. Good poem!
