Sad Story With A Huge Twist

by Tangible heartache   Jul 21, 2008

A small cry escapes her sweet red lips,
As she cuts deep into her wrist,
Small drops of blood start to drip,
This is a sad story with a huge twist.

This girl was once never upset,
Always laughing and having a good time,
She was a sweet brunette,
Never once did a crime.

She was always there for you,
Through thick and thin,
Every word she spoke was true,
There was nothing she couldn't win.

She had good grades,
And never lied,
Never once did she think of knives,
'Till her best friend died.

That's when she turned to hurt and hate,
Lashing out at those she loved,
She wasn't thinking straight,
She lost her beloved.

Never once did she cry,
Because she was strong,
She didn't show she was hurt; and that was a lie,
She started to act like nothing was wrong.

Now she cuts her fragile wrists,
Letting the blood flow,
Letting it fall in a sweet kiss,
Not letting it slow.

Goodwork- I love the emphasised emotion. Your cliffhanger is really excellent. Love to see more.

It's an alright ending it deff is a cliffhanger which is good because now the readers have to create then ending which gets them more into the piece thinkign of what may happen.

    Good job
