It is so amazing; I came to sit with you today and I caught my breath when I saw your smile
You were sitting there watching whales frolicking, and then something caught my eye
You were feeding a wombat though you were far away from the eyes of the forest
Orchid Lady, you really are a special friend to the animals that live around us.
Where animals shy away from humans you seem to attract them with your love for Nature
That wombat was sitting beside you without a care in the world and I felt so humble
Had I been there on my own I would have seen nothing but the bareness of the landscape
Yet, you arrive and birds and little animals willingly come out to spend a little time with you.
I have travelled here also and as soon as I spotted you my heart seemed to race
It's as if I hadn't been with you for years even though you only left for work this morning -
- sweetheart, you look so peaceful sitting there and I don't really mean to disturb you both
But I need you too because whenever you are away from me my little world never feels quite right.
The weather has been so unkind; with wind and rain doing their utmost to spoil our days -
- yet right now the sun is beaming because of you and the sea is looking like a glass mirror
I wonder if the elements knew you would be visiting them today and put on their best behaviour?
Sorry my furry friend I need the company of my orchid so much more than you do.
What a beautiful sight this is as the whales seem to be lifting their tails so high and dancing to a watery ballet
Such effortless motion for a mammal so huge yet so graceful and I am sure they are winking at you
You are sitting beside me like an adorable angel and I can see the excitement in your face -
- my Orchid, no matter how much your furry friends love you - I love you so much more.
I'm so sorry my love, just when I arrive; it is time for us to go back to work.
