Kissing death because he told her to

by Tangible heartache   Jul 22, 2008

She sits there with the knife in one hand
This is her friend, and with her it stands
It's been with her through ruff times she's had
Kissing her skin when she feels oh so very sad

With her he takes away the pain and guilt
Taking away the pressure that has built
Telling her it's okay to cut your wrist
Helping her do it, he's here to assist

The knife has become her best and only friend
Helping her survive the pain, even when it's the end
Showering her sweet fragile wrists with little kisses
Never once has he gave up, he never even misses

He says I will be here for you as long as you are here
He says you are something he keeps dear
He is the cause for why she takes her last breath
Because he told her to welcome the sweet dark death
