Eternal Love, Forever Broken

This girl has gone through emotional battles,
Just praying, "God help me through this"
But whenever she begged and pleaded for help,
The situation had just gone amiss

She didn't know which direction to go,
Always clueless, lost, and confused
Determined to find true love in any place,
The pain gradually decreased and defused

Turning back to a special someone,
He came to her with open arms
Reluctantly, she came but didn't want to get hurt
He told her there was no need to be alarm

They went together to that special prom,
Reunited and as happy as could be
But no one knew the night would end
As a war of anger and jealousy

Her ex was present and so was his date,

Then attempted to end the sadness with a kiss
But the only thing he did not know,

Drenched in rain, she pushed him away,

Running away into the chilling darkness,
