Resistance

Look into his eyes,
And you will see.
The reflection of her,
As clear as can be.

His emotions held within,
For her heart already taken.
He still says no word,
Though clearly he is shaken.

His need for her grown strong,
She knows not of his existence.
He never made himself known,
For fear of her resistance.
