Our Parting

by A Phoenyx in Flight   Jul 23, 2008

Spray from the falls caught the sunlight.
Glittering halo.
Magical and human, healthy and glad.
Swallowed my tears.
Glittering halo.
Our parting bittersweet.
Swallowed my tears.
Hugged long and hard.
Our parting bittersweet.
Patted her cheek one last time and turned away.
One day we'd bee together again the two princesses of Bamarre.
Spray from the falls caught the sunlight.
Patted her cheek one last time and turned away.
One day we'd be together again the two princesses of Bamarre.
Magical and human, healthy and glad.

(this poem is created from lines in my favorite book the two princesses of bamarre.)

"Spray from the falls caught the sunlight.
    Glittering halo."

Beautifully written and a great way to start off the poem.
This was my favorite part cause of how descriptive it was.
Any good poem can take you to a certain place thus allowing you to see the true beauty of poetry. This line definately did that for me.

All in all, I did enjoy reading this and thought it was done well indeed. 5/5
