Late Night Whispers of A Snowy Night

by Tangible heartache   Jul 23, 2008

She sits there alone in the night crying
The rain mixes in with her salty tears
She has no reason to live, she is not trying
What would happen if she just disappears?

She asks herself that question all the time
Of what might happen if she just goes
If she dies, surely that's not a bad crime?
But I guess no one would really know

She hopes no one will even notice she's gone
She hopes no one will actually care
Because they won't find her little cold body 'till dawn
This cruel little world is just really unfair

The rain now turns to little snowflakes
Her body will now freeze to death
She starts to shiver in the cold, her little body quakes
Soon this will be her last and only breath

Her body is growing cold and snowy white
And starts to cry fresh salty tears
Death is calling her in the snowy night
This death of hers will take away her every fear.

^I really love this first stanza, it grabs my attention and it truly shows the true sadness that you are in. I like your poem a lot, you express your emotions and thoughts very well in this poem, and I can tell it came straight from your heart. Really enjoyed it, keep writing!
