Just when the sun goes down

by Byron   Jul 23, 2008

The clouds spoke indifferent
tongues I couldn't decipher
Inconsistent weather
A feeling i couldn't remember

Concrete laid out a future
roads that lead to strangers
a forest played as my savior
As I hide away from danger

beds dressed to please
undisturbed sheets
pillows begging for dreams
it's a cold and bitter defeat
