Catch your Breath

I can feel the tempo;
it's in my Blood.
That sudden rush of excitement,
it's nothing like I've touched before.

It's pulsing endlessly,
the closer you lean to me,
the faster my heart speeds,
tonight I hope; Never Ends.

I shame away from your gaze;
nervous, of what you're about to say.
My lips begin to move;
but there's no breath coming out.

I used to question your reasons;
wondered what it was that gave me You.
If honestly; today, your feelings to me ...
Are True.

Then I catch my breath,
as you look away.
Handing over a thorned rose,
whispering in that seductive voice,
"Your the reason; for my Everything."
