I am the Angel of Death

by Invited   Jul 23, 2008

I am the Angel of Death
And I don't like breath
Nor do I like life
I'd rather pick up a knife.
My name may have Angel in it
It also has death in it
My death comes nice and slow
Like the blackbird's crow.
Don't fear me,I'm innocent see
Death is just meant to be
I'm sorry if I killed your mother
And your only brother.
But you'll recover
Yet, you'll grieve
But pain shall still run down your sleeve.
I may wear a halo
But a 'RIP' halo
And my dark robe too
An expecting curtain for you.
I'm only a messenger, of course
I don't kill with force
Just know that I'm the Angel of Death
And you might be next on my list,Steph?!

*A moral to teach everyone that you should live life while you can and don't fear death, its not good or evil.

This is another poem where I find the message outshines the poem , and to me that is the best it can get.
I truly loved the context from which it was written . This is the second of yours I have read but again I find so much wisdom from such young eyes --please keep your insitful messages flowing ...JIM 5/5
