Silent Cry

by ForbiddenSnowflake   Jul 23, 2008

Can't you see?
Don't you care I want to die?
Don't you listen?
Can't you hear my silent cry?
Won't you turn?
Can't you hold me to your heart?
Are you afraid of what might follow once you start?
Would you rather not believe I'm in such pain?
That all your sense and good advice must be in vain?
Would you rather tell yourself I'll be ok?
And all this adolescent angst will go away?

I liked the poem, I found that all the questions made such affect of depth. But I think all the questions as in the whole poem just asking questions I think it made it a bit repetitive and could have had more effect if there was probably a break in between the questions... I think this poem could be developed further and really turned into something special..but for now it is a good starting point. It has a nice feel to it, something about this poem makes it seem so...honest and open, also giving it a little fed up effect.

Well nice work, keep it up, hope some of my suggestions help.
