To dear father Christmas, of whom they all do speak
I ask for you this Christmas, to fill light in all thats bleak

Promise me you'll try, to make things alright

But please if you are listening, erase things I never forget

To stop the pain and the hate, so tears I will not cry

So all my family and my friends, think Christmas is worthwhile

And the memories that seem to haunt, and never go away
