Editor

Evolution comes with an editor
Everything must have a predator
All of the species end with demise
Some imperfect in the creator's eyes

Ah, but perfection is so forgiving
As life goes on eternally living
Every mistake must be repeated
When the parent is not deleted

For every failure there is a success
Where life is not doomed to regress
To whom for life would we give credit?
If genesis was something we can't edit?

A great poem! Your style of writing felt very familiar to me. I like how you question the reader with the basis of genesis. I felt that several of the stanzas circulated some of their own meanings. A thought provoking take on the truth of variability. Excellent work.
