Fake

I have been wearing this smile
For a while now
So long that nobody knows that it's fake
Not even my best friend

It's as if she doesn't care
If it's fake or not
As long as she's happy
She'll never notice

So how can I tell that
She'll never notice
It's quite obvious actually
She's up in her own world and she doesn't care

So she will never notice
That I wear a fake smile
Then how do I know she's a true friend
I don't know and will never will.
