Wail from a dragon's breath

by devils angel sunrise   Jul 24, 2008

Crudely your chafing scales ensnare me, bring me to your cave
Dark and desolate are the feelings it impose.
Dragon, your wings ablaze, bind me beneath a shroud of sadness
Your scornful ways fuse to my soul,
Spurn all those who dare near.
Your sulfurous breath engraves my every thought with a fiery pain of regret and worthlessness.
I fight your cage like claws for the clear scent of escape.
Alas! All that I taste is darkness and fear
Where is my knight?
Where is my sword?
where is my salvation?
all hidden beneath the wail of the dragon's breath
