Paint a Poem

by Alicia   Jun 3, 2004

I can paint a poem
In black or white or gold
the words they do not matter
at least thats what I'm told
ill paint a vivid picture
of the feelings that i hide
starting with my poem
as the detailed guide line
I can paint a poem
with the words i dare not speak
the emotions I've kept bottled up
even though they tend to leak
Ill take a razor to my poem
and cut out the parts you'd hate to see
then paint with brighter colors
so everything appears okay
i can paint a poem
its the story of my life
with the world as my canvas
and you...
as my inspiration

Very nice! I loved it.. it saids everything I do when I write, I paint worlds with my words. and so do you.
the rhyme was not on the button, but it don't matter because you made up for it in the flow.
