Missing You Dearly

by BornAgainWriter   Jul 24, 2008

Maybe I read into it to much,
Maybe I think what I shouldn't,
Maybe I just miss your touch,
Because you've been absent;

From my heart.

Maybe I'm the one insecure,
About what you're doing,
I'm just really unsure,
Because we quit bonding.

Just lately, baby.

We talk then we don't,
It's an off and on circle,
But it won't;
Anymore, be careful.

I truly do love you.

We're in this together,
Or so I'd like to think,
You make it all better,
With just a wink.

So manipulative, hun.

Oh yes I admit,
You're so manipulative,
I finally said it,
You hold me captive.

From the outside world.

I want you to myself,
I need you to be here,
I need your support,
When you're near.

Not long enough.

Time now seems so short,
And I dislike it,
Things seem to distort,
On their own, dammit.

I hate it baby I do.

As long as I get that "I Love You",
Before my head hit's the pillow,
And "I'll always love you",
You're voice will echo.

Through the night.

...I'll know, that everything is alright.
