Have You Ever

by BornAgainWriter   Jul 24, 2008

Have you ever turn the radio up so loud so that no one can hear you?
Have you ever felt so alone in a crowded room?
Have you eer felt that one special person turned your skies blue?
Have you ever felt like your life was being sucked into a vacuum?

I have and I know a lot can relate,
I know a lot feel the same way,
Like nothing is worth the debate,
Or the effort you add every day.

You feel drained when you awake,
You feel helpless with other issues,
Heart is experiancing an earthquake,
You don't even remember your values.

I know it's super hard to get through,
But if I can do it than so can you,
Be careful of what you get yourself into,
Be very weary of the new.

Keep your head and chin up,
Remember "life is what you make it",
If you fall; quickly get up,
And the shoe will fit.

You can do it if I can,
And I'm trying so very hard,
I don't need a right hand-man,
And keep up your guard.

This poem is slowly coming to an end,
But I have so much more to say,
Let that broken heart finally mend,
Take it slow day by day.
