i kept pushing you away....
telling you i was too busy....
finally gave you a chance....
late again as always...
heard you before i saw you....
thought that things would be the usual...
until i went cold inside....
thats when.... your demon came out
you yelled.... attacked me and tore me to shreds
left me digging nails into myself....
crying inside....
and trying to hide... in the darkest depths of myself
then you found out about my cuts....
thought you'd explode in rage...
yet you didn't... you knew i didn't need you to yell about that again.
you talked calmly, hugged me and made things feel ok
kissed me and told me you would help
reminded me of everyone i could always trust you...
never thought the hugs would make the world disappear
let me feel safe and alive... without a pain.
