Dad

Dad

When I think of you I see your smile,
Your laughter dad could be heard for miles.
Your eyes light up and your face did glow,
And everyone around couldn't help but know.
That you were here and happy as can be,
Pulling your pranks and joking with me.

I miss our talks I miss your snicker,
I miss coming to you when I have a bicker.
Its been quite a while since you went away,
But your love is here, with me to stay.

The sight of you walking in the house,
Is gone for ever and is quit as a mouse.
You were taken so quickly, no one could say goodbye.
My tears so full of pain, I still ask why.

But now I remember what made you, you,
Then I see you face, and hear you laughing too.
You will always be here with me forever and a while,
For everyones says Dad, I have your laughter and your smile!!

Very awesome poem. You seem very compassionate with your poetry, which is an awesome quality. You can actually make people feel what you're feeling, as if you were reading it to us in person. It's a really good poem and I just love the way you wrote it. It really touched me. Keep on writing!
