My Sanity

Today I realized I'm losing my mind.
I'm out of control, my sanity I can not find.

I'm slipping slowly, slowly away.
My reality fades with each passing day.

I'm scared and don't know what to do.
So my friend, I'm turning to you.

I don't know how I got here,
but I hope you can help me with my fear.

My world is spinning, spinning out of control,
and the darkness threatens to swallow me whole.

Extreme pain and confusion is what I feel,
Please tell me what to do to heal?

Reality grows more and more faded,
My emotions more and more jaded.

Each day I lose a little more,
Will it ever be like it was before?

I can't even remember me!
How can that be?

    A nice write with a good rhyme scheme. I think the metre/rhythm of this write could be improved so as to ease the read and smooth the flow. Each line of a couplet should have, as close as we can, the same syllable count, I believe.
    As always an opinion.
