Your Power

by Dani Ward   Jun 3, 2004

I'm dying from the pain,
bleeding from the heart,
not from a wound,
but because we're apart.
I miss you so much,
the pain is tearing me up inside,
I need to be with you,
this pain I can't abide.
But as soon as I see you,
my pain will dissipate,
you'll heal all my wounds,
and the flow of my blood you will abate.
You'll kiss away the pain,
and bring me elation,
hold me in your arms,
chills run down my back from the sensation.
You are truly the one and only one,
the one that was meant for me,
and I am the one for you,
this I do see.
I will love you for all of time,
hold you close and tight,
sure to never let go,
and never let you out of my sight.
This is what you do to me,
I can't be without you for even an hour,
and I am at your mercy,
bound by this, your power.
