Beautiful Lies

by Crippled Wing   Jul 26, 2008

Oh Beautiful lies..
What dry tears you cry
Nobody knows the true you
they don't even have a clue
These scars remind you
that you're on your own
...and you know the cuts have grown

Go on tell those beautiful lies
and pretend there's happiness behind your eyes
You have to act strong
in order for you to belong
You can't show your pain
if you must cry, do it in the rain
Go ahead, say you're OK
that way they can just go away
and keep telling those beautiful lies
...until finely you too believed those lies
when you say your last goodbyes

Yeah, pretending that what you know isn't really happening and just opting to faking it makes it so much more safer... god know what would happen if anyone saw what life was really doing to your mind. they just might relate... they just might not be like everyone else and judge... they just might really understand...
