If I were to die here and now
The world would not make a sound.
The world would not stop
People would not pause to think
Of the girl who had one to many drinks.
No one would cry, or watch me as I die.
Not one soul would care
Except for the ones who loved and often stared
Tears may fall not a lot compared to all
But those few tears will help me sleep
As others cry and weep
I think this as I lie here
With all this self harm I may have cut to deep
I try to reach for my drink
But I drop down tired and weak
Now is the time to sleep
I close my eyes and dream my last dream
