The Story of the Demon Prince

by Insanity   Jul 26, 2008

Born in to this world alone
a child with out a life
his mother dieing in birth
his father in a old sacrifice

he grows up as a farm hand
working to stay alive
revered by all
and he doesn't know why
whispers meet his ears
as he tills the fields
story told behind his back
as he reaps the farms will
yet never does he hear what is said
what these people talk about behind his head
he grows up slowly
every day a year
till finally he is a man
eight-teen in this field
his muscles are iron cords
forced and molded by pain
he works from morn
throw the pouring rain
the farmer watches and believes it is time
to tell the young man about his life
he calls the man in and sits him down
his daughter sits in the other room not making a sound
as the old farm begins his tale
of the boys father from beyond the vale
you see my son the vale is very old
it is the great wall that defends us from down fall
your father was given a black stone blade
and was sent throw the vales white gate
he was gone for years
we all thought him dead
till one day he came throw
white as a dead in bed
he spoke little and we never asked
what happened in that forgotten land
he made a wife and some say fell in love
but that was before the evil flood
six years after your father came back
demons came throw in an evil mass
they took the land and the kingdom by force
all we could do was fall this course
but your father choice to stand opposed
to that vile evil demon of old
he took that blade of black stone
and went to the castle to lay him low
but as we all knew he stood no chance
he fell to the demon lords black lance
your mother she was only a month along
but stayed alive from heart break to bare you son
this is what your life was before
and why everyone fears who you are
I knew your father very well
so he entrusted me with you in his fell
so dear boy the story is yours and yours alone
do as you choice for you very own
with that the old farmer left the room
the man sat there knowing not what to do
he heard then softly across the house
the girl he knew crying tears out
he stood slowly and went to her
and she fell into him crying very hard
she told him her love was great as time
and he listened wishing he knew his mind
slowly he rose after she had fallen a sleep
and he left that house to go out and weep
he sat in the field he knew all his life
and cried very hard for once in time
till finally he made up his mind
he was going to fight this demon prince or die
he gathered his pack and right before dawn
he left that farms house throw the mist filled morn
he walked for days till he came to the place
the place were the vale held its gates
and into the vale he went that night
to return in six years time
people forgot about the young man
but the girl she weaped every night he wasn't there
then out of a morn mist
walked a man clouded in darkness
He wore a robe of utter black
and on his back a sword of glass
he went quickly to the farmer's house
past people looked away in dought
could this man be that boy they once knew
the boy who left six years this day to
the man pushed into the old farmer's house
and first to see him was the girl a women now
she fell to her knees and cried out to god
thank you lord for his return to us
the old man then walked into the room
and looked at the robed man in wear who
but the man quickly removed his robe
and looked at the man he always loved
the old farmer quickly jumped and laughed
I thought you dead you son of a *itch
That night there was a party as the boy told
his story of the vale of forgotten old
then he spoke what he came to tell
that he was going to kill the demon prince and send him back to hell
the room grew quit at this news
for they feared the man would simply lose
next morning the man he left them all
but not before he kissed the women he loved
it took the man six days to find
that castle of the evil kind
once he got there he drew his blade
and killed every creature the prince threw his way
demons and lichs and evil beasts
all fell at the end of mans glowing blade
till finally he entered the tower room
were the evil demon prince ruled
he broke down the door his eyes in rage
and spotted the creature alone and afraid
a battle took place the likes never seen before
as the nation rumbled with each battle call
fire was thrown and blades were slashed
till finally the demon breathed its last
bloody and tired the man withdrew
to the bottom of the tower out the gates he flew
a crowed awaited to hear his fate
and at his sight they jumped in place
the man had won
had beaten the odds
he was now king
and lord of all
so he took that old farmer
and his lovely daughter with he
to live in his castle for life if it be.....
