Who is that girl?

Who is that girl?
the girl in the mirror
with her pained fill eyes
filled with fear

who is that girl?
the girl in the mirror
trying to cover the freshest cut

who is that girl?
the girl in the mirror
who hasn't smiled in over a year

who is that girl?
the girl in the mirror
with tear filled eyes
but refuses to cry

who is that girl?
the girl in the mirror
who feels all alone
even when your near

who is that girl?
the girl in the mirror
who is she and why is she here

they tell me she's me but i don't agree
I'm not her i am me
with my shattered heart and broken wings i hide my pain so none can see

but she can see
the girl in the mirror
because the girl in the mirror really is me.

    You Know, this could have been such a sad poem if not for the realization expressed.
    And there in lyes the beauty.
    I have always believed the first step to making your dreams come true is to wake up.
    I think if you take time each morning to look in that same mirror you will see changes slowly comming about. So smile baby girl , the changes are already there but it is up to you to find them 5/5 for the poem 10/10 for the attitude,,, JIM
