Heavens Loss

I came upon an angel
she looked so lovely
i never thought
one could be so beautiful
i looked into
her loving green eye's
she looked back to mine

i could not help
but wonder how
the lord did not know
that an angel
had fallen into my arms
stolen my heart
absorbed my soul

i wondered if heaven
had known she was missing
there must be
some kind of emptyness
the clouds barren
without her presence

i felt so loved
i felt so happy
how else could someone feel
when looking at an angel
when looking at love

Into the eye's of love
at the face of beauty
heaven must be lonely
without this angel
missing her love

i can't help it
but feel in my soul
feel in my heart
this is heavens loss
