Thought

by H E Losey   Jul 27, 2008

Gently brushing past my mind
Like the breeze off a passing butterfly
Teasing, tormenting and so unkind
Are the fleeting memories of love gone by

As gossamer caresses the breeze of spring
So touch our lips in fondest memory
Love, lost, the antithesis of my heart's feeling
Numbly awaiting true love's return to me

^^ I love similes, and that is a perfect one.

The last two lines didn't post correctly, it has that gibberish stuff in it, but otherwise .. this is another great short love poem. Well done, keep doing what you do.. 5/5. =)
