Reassuring Smile

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jul 27, 2008

Maybe you not knowing is something good.
I'd rather you be oblivious
and for my pain to not be understood.
I'll just hide away in the abyss.

I can live while being chilled to the bone
and forgotten at the end of the day
as long as my misery is unknown.
Left forgotten is better in a way.

The only thing that smile reassures is pain
and at that point I'm being ignored.
Unfortunately my feelings I must contain.
Sharing these thoughts I can't afford.

"To the heart and mind, ignorance is kind."
With this quote I must agree.
I'd rather you to be unharmed and blind.
Maybe you shouldn't love me.
