How Can You

You tell me its alright
you tell me tht I will be safe
but how can you save me
save me from myself?

I should have died that night
along with my family
but instead I was saved
and made to live as an orphan.

How can you tell me I'll be safe
when everything I love
always withers and dies
you just can't save me
from the pain and sorrow.
So how do you expect to save me?
I'd gladly like to know.

    Sad. But provoked decent emotion,why couldn't I have died along with them I don't deserve to live-is basically what you are getting at. Yet, i love it and well done. I ould like to see more of this simple work.
