Setting Sail

by Nicko   Jul 28, 2008

I set my sail for tempests door
Leave the bounds of my favourite shore
For nature holds my true vocation
My very essence
No pain no shame tis only a game
No tears nor anger, none to blame
My energy released never lost
Do the sums there is no cost
My poison
Not a puppet on a pulpit
Or God
But
A mere clump of earth, a sod
Oh yes I am
Tall my friends
See me now
I dance before you and laugh
Smile upon my bones
Know, Know
I've come home

I like your poem. Theres something haunting to it that seems to... hold more meaning than what any of us (the readers) could understand. Thankyou for such a lovely piece of work!
