Never-Ending Love

by michelle   Jul 28, 2008

Love letters may fade away in time
Yet my honest thoughts and emotions remain
Your poems and songs may have no rhyme
But still I will kiss you again and again
Your body may grow old with time
But to me your words still carry meaning
Your text and speech may be sublime
But to me you are never demeaning
The world revolves around us, unwavering
Telling us to listen and watch, even to part ways
The time we spend together I am savoring
Because with love for you my heart is ablaze
You hold me gently but close to your heart
You stand behind me and look down as you stand above
I know my heart would break if we were part
I know in my heart and my head it’s you that I love.
