Summer is finally coming to its end
Where lovers say goodbye and the trees start to blend
Where babies cry, and you just push them away
Where boyfriends leave but you want them to stay
Where hope drops and nothing seems okay
Where kisses && hugs never seem to really last
Where every time you cry you think about the past
Where fights with your parents never end well
Where sometimes you wished everything went swell
Where lies and heartbreak blew your mind
Where thinking your boyfriend was one of a kind
Where black cats always cross your path
Where when you fell on the floor, all the kids laughed
Where cutting yourself was the only thing you can take back
Where tears fall down your cheek
Where a crush talks to you and you can barely speak
Where starving yourself went on for weeks
Where summer was supposed to be sweet
Where summer ends and goes away
Where you look in the mirror and want to stay
Where cutting you is not the way
Where all happiness goes astray
Where you sit up straight && stand your ground
Where one day, you will be found
Where one day you'll be okay
Where one day you'll want to stay
Where one day you'll see summer as a place of adventure
Because you've made it this far
And no more scars
And no more turning back
Because all that was in the past....
